It has been interesting to see sites like Glassdoor achieve less success than LinkedIn. One reason may be that they did not seem to target recruiters as an audience quite as effectively. That may be partially due to the information that they let people publish about companies causing many companies to see the site as risky or not trustworthy.

Neat infographic. Lots of opportunities to find job opportunities through social media. I wonder if sites like Glassdoor will ever be go-to place for job hunters. Seems those sites would be more useful as far as getting a snapshot of what it might actually like working for company A versus company B.

You have to wonder why she didn't just block his tweets. Even though what the guy did was stupid, the judge made the right call on this.

There have been a few companies that let departing employees keep their followers when leaving the company, but it should really be the company’s decision, when the followers were developed on company time, with company assets. In any case, companies should establish agreements with anyone managing such properties when the employee begins their role on behalf of the company.

Kind of side with the employer on this one. Sounds draconian, but what kind of egomaniac thinks people are following the brand because of him?
